Senior Energy and Carbon Management Consultant

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Consultant with demonstrated experience in carbon and energy management to join their climate change team and manage and assist projects. These projects include:

• identifying energy efficiency improvement opportunities in both commercial and industrial buildings
• assessing renewable energy projects
• advising on strategies and approaches to 'green' building practises, and building performance management
• conducting energy and sustainable policy analysis

The ideal candidate will possess an engineering degree, with 5 years experience working in the environmental and sustainable field and have specific knowledge of energy efficiency.

You will have an understanding of energy performance analysis and EU/UK climate and energy policy and possess strong analytical skills.

Experience in supervising junior engineering staff, planning, directing and controlling budgets for projects and collaborating with peers and senior management in strategic business planning is required.
