Business Analyst

Our client's business is making markets work; a leading provider of services to regulated utility markets in the UK and Europe. Our client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst, with specific expertise in the area of regulatory economics, to further grow our successful team.

Key accountabilities will include:

• Analysis of market conditions, trends & models
• end to end processes
• operational issues
• Providing support to the ongoing market operation and change management process; and
• Ongoing involvement in future company activities for other market activities

To be successful in this role, you will be required to demonstrate:

• An understanding of the Utility sectors
• An understanding of deregulated industries, competitive markets and how they operate

A business or technical degree or professional qualification and/or operational experience gained within the utilities industries.

In addition, experience in the following would be desirable:

• Working experience in the Water sector would be advantageous
• Process and data exchange methodologies
• Strong analytical experience
• Proficient use of office IT applications including word processing, spreadsheet and database
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
